Having done a little digging it seems that it could be that there's an issue with the paper sensor and in my search I located this nugget of intel that offers a solution:Ībsolutely no idea if this is a viable solution to the actual problem but given the circumstances, age of the printer and the onset of the issue it does seems likely. The issue started around 2-3 months ago and the printer isn't a second hand one either. Print using plain paper or any other non-photo paper/media setting and the printer works fine. Select "photo" paper in any form and the printer starts pulling the paper into the printer, halts with a paper jam error before allowing the paper to spit out with the paper feed button Had an R1800 user reach out in desperation to help resolve a problem they're hitting with their printer. ![]() ![]() Thought I'd share this one as it's still rather open ended.
